Peptide Power Night Sleeping Mask

In short, this smooth, creamy Korean mask feels wonderful and hydrates my skin. The consistency is a bit different than other mask I have tried and it takes some time to wash it off, but neither is a bad thing. Based of the ingredients, this BOM Mask seems to target normal-to-dry aged skin, it also seems to be a suitable indulgence for all skin types. A full review follows.I primarily tried this product just based off the reputation of Korean skin-care products, so I had no specific expectations. My product came packaged in a white BOM-branded box a bit over 2 ½ inches in width, depth and height. While simple, the packaging looks nice enough for gifting. The mask ingredients as listed on the box are the same as listed on the Amazon page. The formula is water-based with moisturizing, repairing, and anti-aging ingredients. I found no objectionable ingredients.Instructions on the box and the jar are to apply an moderate amount and gently smooth it. Sleep on it and wash it off in the morning. I used the mask basically as instructed. Out of the jar the mask is white, super-creamy and rich feeling. To me it has a pleasant floral-like scent, typical of Korean skin care products. The serum is also quite stretchy or cohesive and smoothing it on my face, causes strings of the mask could form. As the mask is smoothed and thinned, the white cream becomes a clear viscous gel-like liquid and dries fairly quickly. The scent mostly goes away at this point, or at least I noticed it less. In half an hour, I could touch the mask and at about an hour, it had congealed into a true gel-like mask. Once in this state, the mask doesn’t see to transfer to easily and I could sleep on my side.Washing the mask off in the morning, six to eight hours after application, take a bit of time and effort if done with just water as instructed. Washing my face in the bathroom sink, it took a good five minutes to thoroughly remove the mask. My skin was left feeling rejuvenated and hydrated. Using soap, it only took a couple minutes, but I lost much of that rejuvenated feeling.Overall, I love this product. I found the that mask hydrates great, left my face looking and feeling rejuvenated. I do think it is best suited for normal-to-dry and aged skin, but the formula is safe and well-balanced enough for everyone.

I wasn’t really expecting much from this at first since I figured the whole “gold flecks” thing would be one of those over-the-top gimmicks brands throw in to make a basic cream feel fancy. But this stuff? I've really been enjoying it. The texture is kind of wild when you scoop it out, like this stringy jelly that looks like it’s going to be weird to spread, but then it melts into your skin like butter and just sinks right in. It doesn’t vanish completely like a gel moisturizer would, but it’s not greasy either. I put it on before bed and in the morning my face seems to feel softer, especially since it's helping with the dryness I have right now from using Tretinoin.There is a scent to it, and while it’s not super natural or botanical or anything, it fades pretty fast after application. I’ve got reactive skin that likes to throw tantrums, but I haven’t noticed any irritation, which surprised me. Price-wise, it’s not the cheapest thing I’ve ever tried, but considering how long the jar will probably last and how deeply hydrating it feels, I’m not mad about it. I really feel like it's helping me along my little healing skin journey.

This cream surprised me! I expected the advertisement of gold flecks to be a gimmicky way to upgrade a basic face cream. Instead I discovered what feels like a pretty great cream that happens to have gold in it too. The jar is glass with a plastic top. The texture is strange to look at, visibly viscous. However the feel is creamy and very smoothe. After application, I don't know how to describe it other than to say my skin drank it up. I've never put on a cream or lotion this hydrating in my life. It has a lightly floral scent that smells French (I don't know my flowers any better than that). After the cream sinks in, it doesn't leave a greasy residue but I can tell why the instructions say this is a Night Cream and to wash your face in the morning. It doesn't absorb fully, and could interfere with makeup application. At under $25 this isn't a budget face cream, but for the quality of what you get I think it's more than worth it. This would be a highly appreciated gift and the recipient would likely think you'd splurged!

This BOM Cosmetics peptide power night mask is pretty nice. The texture first caught me off guard, its thinner, but it has a sticky stringy consistency almost like a slime in a way. It goes on nice and feels light on my skin. I put it on when i'm going to have some time before bed for it to dry a bit so it doesn't just rub off on my pillow. I have not had any irritation, during or after using this. It goes on clear and you wouldn't know it is on your skin except when i go to wash in the morning and the water touches my face I can feel a tackiness of the product. So its nice to know its there all night not being rubbed off on your bedding. My face feels smooth and hydrated after using. Overall no complaints!

I apply a sleep mask once a week and I already have used many different masks before. Essentially these type of masks are like moisturizers that you apply at night and let them soak in and in the morning you have a fully moisturized face. This sleep mask has very impressive ingredients. I was happy that it did not irritate my skin since it is very sensitive. I spread a little all over my face and let it do its magic. This is good stuff.
